Looking for a speaker?

Over the last few years, I've been able to spend time with various groups (churches, school administration + staff, young moms, etc.) and shared about a variety of topics, including:

  • Establishing healthy boundaries in your relationships (with spouses, children, etc.)
  • How do I support my child through a divorce?
  • Exploring conflict and communication within marriage
  • Cultivating healthy friendships
  • Raising emotionally healthy kids
  • Stopping the comparison game (body image and identity)
  • Finding rest and rhythm in the midst of life

Please feel free to contact me directly to discuss the specific needs and requests of your group.  I am also more than willing to hear what topics are of interest or of need to your group - let's make this a custom fit!

"Screen-based media associated with structural differences in brains of young children"

Science Daily

"A new study documents structural differences in the brains of preschool-age children related to screen-based media use. The study, published in JAMA Pediatrics, shows that children who have more screen time have lower structural integrity of white matter tracts in parts of the brain that support language and other emergent literacy skills. These skills include imagery and executive function — the process involving mental control and self-regulation. These children also have lower scores on language and literacy measures."
